Soltera, the experimental dance music project hailing from Los Angeles, is the creation of Colombian American artist Tania Ordoñez. Drawing inspiration from the San Fernando Valley where backyard shows became the canvas for her artistic evolution, Soltera embarked on her solo musical journey in 2018. Ingeniously crafting her sonic tapestry using borrowed synthesizers and drum machines, Ordoñez seamlessly blends elements of techno and house with a punk ethos. Soltera as a live performance has expanded into a powerhouse ensemble featuring musician Langosta on synth/ back up vocals and artist Pacoima Techno on production/ back up vocals. Described as a theatrical and chaotic experience, Soltera’s performances transcend the conventional, offering audiences an immersive sonic journey that pushes boundaries.
