Portia K is a Ugandan-Rwandan-South African currently residing in Geneva, Switzerland where she is pursuing a PhD and continuing to moonlight as a comedian. She clearly has a job, but mostly she spends her time wondering if she remembered to lock her apartment door, why people aren't more fascinated with fax machine technology, and whether it will be her cat allergy or lack of upper body strength that will keep her from surviving the revolution.
