G L O W Z I C O M B O presents: "An Ancestor In Training's Hymn" is a live performance weaving sonic memos, trumpet, synth and drum machines, through which G L O W Z I and Chudy (G L O W Z I C O M B O) aim to alchemize questionings, concerns, and yearnings of/as ancestors in training. In these times of heightened despair where it is harder to feel love in the air, how can we make space for grief and rage without letting them swallow us whole and/or make us fall into morbid states of apathy? What does responsible hope sound like? Does despair look blue or purple? These are some of the many questions G L O W Z I C O M B O will waltz with through a 1-hour sonic offering revolving around funky, spicy, and well-seasoned jazz and house sonic landscapes.
