After devoting the last 7 years to her practice in theater, dance, and performance art, Davia Spain is returning to her roots in music. Her forthcoming debut album explores how her classical training in jazz vocals can meld with her love for various styles of electronic music. From chamber music to deep house she reclaims all of it as intrinsically black and queer.
