To limit the amount of police presence and interference throughout this event, Black Trans Live Projections will be screened when red-zone restrictions have been lifted. Stay safe and stay tuned! Elle Barbara’s Black Trans Live Projections Rally; a multi-borough event and video installation in Tio’tia:ke / Montreal.

Elle Barbara asks Black women to answer questions relating to their trans-feminine existence. In this original piece conceived in collaboration with MAPP_MTL, Elle Barbara reimagines the parameters of political rallying in a post-COVID world with synchronous outdoor video installations set across Tio’tia:ke, to raise awareness on the erasure of Black trans women and girls.

Dans cette pièce originale créée en collaboration avec MAPP_MTL, Elle Barbara repense les rassemblements politiques pour un monde après-COVID avec des installations vidéos extérieures synchrones à travers Tio’tia:ke, dans le but de sensibiliser à l’effacement que font face les filles et femmes trans Noires.
